Harbor Reflection

Gills Rock, Wisconsin

Gills Rock, Wisconsin

There is a reason why photographers get up at five in the morning for photo shoots. It’s all in the lighting. Love this early morning light.

it evokes such peacefulness. the near absence of the horizon give it such infinity as well.

For that I’d get up at 5 every morning! Beautiful!

5 a.m. is a beautiful time of day; sadly I don’t see it very often! Love the calm still water and how the wonderful blue sky is reflected so nicely in the water.

Beautiful image but I do keep looking for where the sky ends and the water begins. The shadows are excellent.

I’m a bit bothered by the horizon feeling lost too, but I don’t know how to fix it. There wasn’t much horizon to see when I shot it.

I love when the water and the sky blend so seamlessly. Lovely.

Oh, my gosh. I love that the horizon is “missing,” Bo. It lends a magic to the photo that complements the light and subject. Wow.

I love these type of shots where you can’t tell where the waters stops and the sky begins. Wonderful color.

Me too. I love that that the water and sky blend together and look to be one.
