Vista of Palo Duro Canyon

Hidden Treasure in the Texas Panhandle

Hidden Treasure in the Texas Panhandle

Palo Duro Canyon is often called the “Grand Canyon of Texas.” It certainly is grand–both in size, beauty, and vibrant colors.  There is much to explore at Palo Duro Canyon State Park, just a few miles east of Canyon, Texas.

*making note in my travel calendar!* I like the photo, too. Beautiful landscape, the sky really makes it. Out of curiosity (and because I am unfamiliar with Olys) what lens did you use?

Ok, just ignore me. You had vistas all over the place.

And this one is freakin’ stunning.
