Ripples on the Pond

at Sunset

Reflection at Sunset

Things wabi-sabi have a vague or blurred feeling as they approach nothingness.  Bright, deep colorations fade into the colors of dawn and dusk.

Ripples radiating, gradually fading.
Reflection of the trees and sunset, gradually fading.
Fading into nothingness.

Stunning piece. This seems to have everything — color, reflections, interesting composition, mood. Need I go on? 😉

Absolutely stunning! Especially love the ripples in the reflections. Everything about this is simply perfect. Very wabi sabi!!!

It’s great to find another wabi sabi loyalist. I practiced it in my pottery and with my photography (http://citrus.wordpress.com/)
Not only that, I lived in Green Bay for 10 years. In the desert of Arizona now.

That is a lot of ripples. Very peaceful to watch in person I bet.
