Such a perfect quote…and so very true. Love the balance of texture and composition here. Sad…but nice.

So interesting that just yesterday I took a drive in our county and noticed many barns in the same state. The quote is perfect. I love it that you chose to isolate part of the interesting barn in your image rather than simply take a photo of a barn. This POV certainly adds to the character of the piece.

Very, very nice capture in the overgrown and the open, staring windows. I truly love the quote and how apt. 😀

    Love the quote.

This is a really excellent find…not too much left of this structure but what is left has great lines.

Now that is a barn with transparency. You are in step with the political times.

I love the mixture of textures in this shot. You capture stonework, weathered wood & fading paint, naked rafters and a rich blue sky.

Gets me thinking of a time I was in Spain…as an American, the 200 year old buildings I thought were soooo old in the US turned out to be nothing in Spain…Romans, Moors…but what really struck me was the delapidation (sp?)…all of these ruins amid the newness of the “cities” I was in…the graffiti, the homeless sleeping in ancient ruins…

What do we preserve..and what do we just let go?
