Self-Portrait

Self Portrait

Actually a portrait of me and my Sherpa. Ambling along the streets of Madison, always on the lookout for a shot. Paying attention to anything and everything. So much to see and absorb, and so much more I see with that darn camera in my hands.

Now I’m working on paying attention, being mindful, when I am sitting quietly, even without my friendly prop, the camera.  Being grateful. Being compassionate. Being happy. Concentrating on the present. Making a difference in small ways – I’m figuring it will add up in the long run.

Very original self-portrait, with a touch of abstract in there too. Very nice…

Neat shot. I normally don’t allow myself to get caught in a reflection. LOL The camera has taught me to pay attention, and I see like I have never before… with and without the camera. 🙂

Interesting shot! I know what you mean by seeing more while carrying a camera.
