Photo Gear

The chronological history of my photo gear, OR how to spend $$ because it can always get better. Oh, how I wish I had a money tree when I browse camera stores. But patience is a virtue…

(Gift 12-2006)
Olympus EVOLT E 500*
with 14-45 mm f/3.5-5.6 Zuiko lens*
and 40-150 mm f/3.5-4.5 Zuiko lens

8-2007
35 mm f/1:3.5 Zuiko macro lens

10-2007
Manfrotto tripod - joystick head. A favorite of my toys.

11-28-07
Olympus E 510 body, traded 500 because of a great money trade-in deal and for the IS.

1-24-08
70-300mm f/4-5.6 Zuiko ED Zoom - Christmas gift!

3-16-08
I have my newest toy, and I really need to stop with the clandestine trips to B&H Photo!
I replaced my kit lens with a shiny new 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 Zuiko Lens. Just like a kid in Willy Wonka Land.
Big difference.

  1. I found that Adobe Lightroom is great software for post editing, especially for the price, it has some similar features to photoshop but the focus is much more on organization and common post processing then physically changing your photos in drastic ways. You should check it out, I believe you can download a 30 day free trial.

  2. You should try the Photoshop CS3 too. Download the 30 day free trial from Adobe website. It’ll take some time to learn how to go about it but give me a shout if u need some tips. Else, the Help segment is pretty useful too. Good luck!
