Wandering through the gardens at the Olbrich Botanical Gardens, and I saw this patch of allium, or wild onion. Pretty stuff, this flowering plant called wild onion.

I don’t recall see wild onion like this… hmm… Nice capture.
There are many varieties of wild onion–some with dense flower heads, some white, some with barely any flower at all.
it resembles the dandelion a lot-except for the more interesting and gorgeous color!
