Checkered Path

Checkered Past

While wandering around the University of Wisconsin’s campus, I came across this great shadow/light pattern. Had to play with these stairs a bit to make the checkerboard really pop. Sometimes you just gotta have a little fun with the photos. Create and play and marvel at the complexities of computerdom and software intricacies.

Imagine. Seventeen years ago this month, we bought out first home computer. 128k Hee hee. And we were SO impressed. The first program we got was Sticky-Bear Math for my then 3 year old. Anybody out there remember Sticky-Bear?

  3. You gave me an idea, jpt. and I tried some closer crops - one just of the pattern on the syairs, but not enough resolution, and then one with just a tighter crop and less of the top. I ended up staying with this to keep the grid effect intact. But again - more play, more exploring. I guess that is what this photo is about. :-)

  4. This picture makes me hungry. I’m thinking Rice Chex or Crispex. If we add honey from the sticky bears MMM :)

I am always intrigued by your shadow shots.
