Sugar frosted saffron; I, too, am in awe at what my digital SLR gives.
I had no idea when we bought it just how much pleasure it would give. Fun.

This photo is truly amazing. Is this the center of the crocus? I can’t see that part of the flower if I get up right next to it. Absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful. I so agree with what you had written. Photography amazes me also, and I see what I haven’t seen before. I love what you had written: “…very essence of a crocus… “the very existence of the entire universe…”
