Great colors
O thou that dost inhabit in my breast,
Leave not the mansion so long tenantless,
Lest, growing ruinous, the building fall
And leave no memory of what it was!
~Valentine - Two Gentlemen of Verona William Shakespeare
I really like how you framed the building, not having it centered.
Makes you wonder if they liked each othrer or not. Ashley on one side and Dickie on the other. They each had their own side. Who was Ashley and Dickie? What type of business was this? Did they start up together or joined forces later in the game? Were they lovers? Sort of like in the story “Fountain Head” by Ayn Rand.
I realize you probably haven’t any of these answers, but your picture portrays a story. I’ll be wondering about Ashley and Dickie for a while I suppose.
I like the brick reds and the greens. Interesting shot.
The texture of the vision is outstanding. I feel as if I reach out and touch the bricks.
bookbabie, robin ~ yes I took a few liberties with the colors, but loved the result. the colors just seemed to go together.
lady ~ my Shakespeare girl! Love it!
preston ~ I always ask those kinds of questions too. when I googled it, there wasn’t mush info.
gandalf ~ texture really brings one into a photograph.
