Due to unfortunate circumstances this tree ‘chose’ to take root on the edge of a rocky precipice. Perhaps there will be a plunge into Lake Michigan in its future.

I’m always amazed at how long those trees can hang on to the edge of a rocky precipice.

This tree is quite brave, though it could fall tomorrow or stand for another 30 years. Nature is a real fooler.
